My name is Rachel and I live in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. I'm currently a college student working on a B.S. in Physics.

Ever since I was little I've always loved all kinds of animals, especially dinosaurs, which evolved into a fascination with bones. Currently I have a modest collection of bones, mostly made up of various deer bones, but also including bones from a raccoon, fox, duck, and turtle. I also intend to start teaching myself how to carve bones when I have a little more time on my hands and hopefully I can make some decent-enough stuff to sell and maybe help pay for school.

Other than bones and school, I also have 6 dogs of my own whom I love dearly, and my teufelkatze Jupiter, a feisty orange tabby (whom I also love, although he's a little crazy man sometimes).

I also enjoy listening to music (I have broad tastes), reading (anything by K.J. Parker, please!), having thoughtful conversations, drinking tea, going to the park (duh), drawing (sometimes, not as often as I used to), dressing up, and all kinds of other shenanigans.

I'm always open for questions or comments or idle chatter, although keep in mind I'm still a bit of a novice with all this bone business, so don't think I'm an expert! I will, however, try to answer any questions to the best of my/wikipedia's/the internet's knowledge :D
